in the sea of darkness
my tortured, demented soul
haunts the deafening silence
as the devil takes its toll
gored by life, my heart bleeds
the rivers of pain flow through me
to the angel of death they lead
as my body tires of bearing agony
my mind falling into a trance
summoned by demons in dreams
sets out to face life's final stance
as i give out a final muted scream
with nothing more left to lose
my soul departs, i breathe my last
my body hangs from the noose
and i become a matter of past...
